Job Overview
The Accounting Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The individual will handle tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Accounting Executive will collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and provide insights to enhance overall financial performance. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on financial performance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments for financial planning.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Handle monthend and yearend closing processes.
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
